[tutorial] Launcher PRO into a WindowsPhone 7

This will be our setup after the tutorial!
With this you have the interesting look  of windows phone 7 and functionality of android!
If you like it and want to try it just check the steps below.
 1. Starting on the homescreen - 2 screens, 8 rows and 7 columns (these numbers are important)

Now remove everything from the screens:
Set dock to "none"(launcher pro preferences>appearance settings>dock background>none):
now you have to change apps-drawer-icon's shortcut:
with homescreens>next screen:
And you have this:
2. Remove other dock icons and change the dot with arrow icon from here:

3. Now is time to add browser icon on the homescreen - go on left screen>add>widget>desctop visualizer(1x2)
tap it and add browser icon, browser like action, clear label and "none" to touch effect:

The result(here the icon is 2x2, but your must be 1x2):
4. Now - weather icon - desctop visualizer(2x2); WP7_weather icon; launch - none:
5. Now add fancy widget between these two icons (first 2x1, then stretch it to the right over a weather icon to become 2x4). The result will be:
Now weather widget is under the icon but if you restart your launcher it will be ok.

6. Next is our contacts icon - 2x1 (on the pic is 2x2)
 7. Now you have to add clock icon - 4x1:
WP7_clock icon; launcher - none
The result:
This is the background. The clock is minimalistic text 6x1
with setup like this:
go in minimalistic text preferences>orientation>vertical block>bottom
Now you can stretch contacts icon to becom 2x2
8. Next add phone icon 2x2 under the clock and messages icon1x2 under the weather,
stretch messages icon downside to becom 2x2:
With this our first screen is ready for now.
9. Go to the right screen and set the camera icon 2x2
10. Now use desctop visualizer 4x1 and stretch it to 5x2
then set the gallery icon on it
and music icon 2x2 next to the camera icon

11. The same story with facebook,
skype and twitter (the twitter's name is messed up in the screenshots but in WP7_icons pack is correct!).
12. Now is time to change number of rows - switch it to 7:
The result will be (icons in the bottom now are under the dock):

Firstly, this was the final setup.
But I think it isn't so useful like we want the android os to be, so lets make some other changes.

13. First put the twitter icon straight under gallery icon.
Then change the 2nd shortcut on the dock to app drawer with custom icon - circle from the WP7_icons in my dropbox

14. Now if you want you can use this tutorial to make missed calls and unread sms count indicators.
Place minimalistic text widget 1x1 next to messages icon in the left screen:

the minimalistic text layout is:

 and the result:

Remove the background and place the same widget next to phone icon, with %MNMLMISSEDCALLS like a variable name in minimalistic text preferences.
The result will be:
(I have set the 3rd dock icon to be other arrow icon. It is shortcut to previous screen)

15. Now for full functionality edit the clock to show the clock and the date; add new minimalistic text next to clock to show battery level and one with static text "lock phone".
You can make the last one to be shortcut to "screen off and lock" app.
16. On the right screen you can place extended controls and week bar with minimalistic text(it's like battery bar from this tutorial, but use days of the week and static text with one space between the days).
And the final setup is this:
In this setup - if weather or clock goes under the icons, just restart the launcher to fix it.
If you have any questions - just ask!

I really like the result!
What do you think?

    1. I can't because this isn't some kind of theme. For this setup I'm using different apps and there is no such tool to backup everything with the settings.
